Analy Rojas-Esparza is AR’s Student of the Month for February! Analy is the daughter of Ysmael Rojas Onofre and Maria Esparza Zermento. To date, Analy has earned 17 college credits and is on pace to complete 27 by the time she graduates. Next year, Analy plans to attend Modesto Jr. College or Cal-Trade Welding school. After completing a program in Welding Technology, Analy plans to return to College of the Redwoods to complete her Associates Degree in Construction Management and work in the welding industry. Of her time at AR, Analy says, “I enjoyed my overall experience at Academy of The Redwoods as I have always felt welcomed into the community. Hello AR Community, The main entrance to CR is flooded out and is expected to be closed the remainder of the day. The central entrance adjacent to the main entrance remains open, please use that entrance when picking up your student. Tompkins Hill Road at Beatrice is flooded, however the highway remains open and we have not received any indication of forecasted highway closures at this time. The FUHSD bus and all HTA buses can still access CR safely and on schedule. -Principal King

Time is Running Out
Dear AR Community, Widespread power outages due to severe weather are possible tonight and tomorrow morning. If the AR/CR campus is experiencing a prolonged power outage at 6:30 AM on Wednesday, then school will be closed that day. If CR has power at 6:30 AM, school will be in session. This cutoff time has been determined with some of our student's long commutes in mind. If power goes out during school hours, we will remain in session through the end of the normal scheduled day, we will not initiate an early release unless there are significant safety risks involved. -Principal King
