There will be no outlying bus service from February 16th to February 20th during Fortuna High School’s Presidents’ Week. Bus service will still be provided between AR and Fortuna High School. Please plan accordingly.
STUDENT COMICS: The Redwood Review is looking for student comics! We would love to print your art. If you could get a comic to us before February 27th, we would greatly appreciate it! Please email Anaya (ancard27@fuhdistrict.net) with any questions.
LUNCH SUPERVISORS: WE NEED YOU!!! It’s an easy way to give back to the community and earn community service time.
What do you do as a lunch supervisor?
To summarize, you will need to check in and out with specific staff members, make sure the Lakeview Room and outside table areas are clean of trash, clean and wipe down the microwave and tables before Tier begins, notify a nearby staff member or Brewer if there is any kind of disruption or emergency, and most importantly- show up for your shift.

STUDENT SPEAKERS: Congratulations to Anaya Card for her participation in the McKinleyville Lions Club annual Student Speakers Contest! Anaya delivered a speech this past Saturday on the topic of "Youth Mental Health: Overcoming Barriers to Well-Being". AR had four speakers across all three local Lions Club contests this year! We are proud of all our student speakers who bravely took on this important topic. Best wishes to Mahayla Broussard and Madison Beurer who will compete in the area contest on March 7th.

CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES
AR BASKETBALL: Coast League basketball will be starting back up at the end of February, which means we are ready to begin practices and create our team! Practices will begin on February 24th and will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-5:30 in the Field House and are open to everyone interested in playing this season. If you plan to attend, bring your own water as the fountain is unreliable. If you have any questions regarding practices or the season in general, please email Lynsey (lmolina@fuhsdistrict.net)
DINO CLUB: Salutations everyone! In the spirit of Valentine's Day Dino Club will be offering special Valentine's cards for you to fill out and give to another! We all hope to see you there, and the floor is open to any dinosaur discussions! As always, a sweet treat will be available for those who attend the entirety of the meeting this Wednesday in HU 204 during lunch. Have a roaring rest of your day!
