PASTELS ON THE PLAZA: Come out and support our talented Academy of the Redwoods artists at the annual Pastels on the Plaza event this Saturday in Arcata!
Local artists, including some from our own AR community, will be transforming the sidewalks of the Arcata Plaza into a colorful art gallery. This wonderful community event is a benefit for Northcoast Children’s Services.
DON’T FORGET YOUR UMBRELLA: Just a heads-up for all students. Rain or shine you’ll be out and about around school so it’s a good idea to always have some rain gear on hand. Keep an umbrella or a waterproof jacket in your backpack so you’re ready if the weather turns wet. Check the forecast before you head out and stay dry out there

REDWOOD POETS SOCIETY: We are excited to announce a new club: the Redwood Poets Society! Our goal is to participate in a poetry slam in the spring. Join us for poetry prompts, music, snacks, and creative activities.
First Meeting: Wednesday, October 8th, during lunch in the AC.
What to Expect: We'll discuss club plans, share poetry prompts, and have music and carrot cake.
Regular Meetings: Every other Wednesday in the AC at lunch.

TRIO: TRIO Talent Search invites you to our next meeting on October 6th during Tier in the Advising Center. We’ll be discussing self-care skills for high school students. This session will offer valuable tips on managing stress, maintaining balance, and taking care of yourself throughout the school year.

AFTER SCHOOL MATH SUPPORT:
Need help with math? Ms. Brewer and Ms. Stanley will be offering after school math support every week on Wednesdays and Thursdays, starting Wednesday, September 24th.
