STUDY ABROAD IN GERMANY: The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) scholarship is for motivated high school students who want to experience a culture and learn a language through a full immersion experience. Learn about German culture first-hand by living with a host family and attending a German high school. Embark on an adventure that is unlike any other. Third Years - AR Student Board Representative
We are seeking a third year student to serve as the AR student representative to the Fortuna Union High School District school board. Responsibilities include attending monthly board meetings in Fortuna and preparing a short report for the board. The meetings occur on Tuesday nights starting at 6PM at Fortuna High School. CLUBS
At AR, all clubs end at the end of each school year. To start a new club, you need to go through the process again each year.
How to Create a Club:
Find an Advisor: Choose a teacher or staff member who will support your club.
Get a Sign-Up Form: Go to the office to get a club sign-up form. Fill it out and have your advisor sign it.
Plan Meeting Times: Decide when and where you want to meet. Check with your advisor to see if that time and space are available. If it's open, ask your advisor to reserve it for the year or semester.
Announce Your Club: To let everyone know about your club, email rsalmon@fuhsdistrict.net by 12 PM the day before you want the announcement. Don’t forget to CC your advisor!

ADVISING
AR Schedule Information:
I know some of you have been looking at your schedule and if there are any issues please follow the guidelines below if you need something resolved.
1). You will have time to review and troubleshoot any issue(s) during your Tier period and your Tier instructor will communicate those issues with me during the first week of classes.
2). If you need to add a TA section, email Brewer and the teacher you will be TA’ing for so that Brewer knows you have that teacher’s permission. This is only if it is needed for seat time.
3). If you need to change your schedule due to a CR class scheduling issue, be sure to email Woz and Brewer and we will get back to you.
Remember, AR classes are set unless there is a mistake that needs to be addressed.
