Matthew Coyle is AR’s Student of the Month for September! Matthew is the son of Jennifer and Jared Coyle. In his free time, Matthew enjoys working with computers and using them to solve problems, hanging out with friends, and going on long walks! To date, Matthew has completed 49 college credits while enrolled at the SANS Technology Institute, Foothill College in Silicon Valley and College of the Redwoods. Next year, Matthew plans to attend College of the Redwoods or another community college unless he receives a generous scholarship from a four-year university. He hopes to pursue software engineering to hone his programming skills, develop and maintain computer code that the world uses, and also create personal projects to solve problems that he finds. Of his time at AR, Matthew says, “I've had the opportunity to meet a variety of great students and teachers. I chose to go to AR for its lack of high school drama, rather than college classes specifically. I made the right choice to go here, I've grown as a student.”
