Divjot Purewal is AR’s Student of the Month for August! Divjot is the son of Makhan Purewal and Baljit Kaur. In his free time, Divjot enjoys playing video games, basketball, and dabbling in website development! To date, Divjot has completed 45 college credits and will complete a total of 67 credits by the time he graduates. Next year, Divjot hopes to attend UC Davis, Berkeley, or San Diego to pursue a major in computer science. He hopes to go into web development and become a front end developer for a large tech company. He has also thought about becoming a youth basketball coach to pass on his passion to the next generation of basketball players! Divjot has had an amazing and unique experience at AR. He says that there aren’t many schools where the community is so close and the educational opportunities are unmatched. He says that without AR, he would be a different person than he is today.
