NEW DATE MONDAY, MARCH 6th:  Adult/Parent WASC Input Opportunity! AR will be hosting a visiting accreditation team from WASC from March 6th through March 8th. Our WASC team would like to meet with parents at AR's Advising Center on Monday, March 5th, at 2:40 PM. If you are interested in joining us and providing your input and experience as an AR parent that would be greatly appreciated! Refreshments and snacks will be provided. RSVPs are appreciated but not required for Principal King at aking@fuhsdistrict.net.

WASC Visit 3/6- 3/8- Next week you may notice some visitors on our campus and in our classes. These guests are educators from other parts of the state who are part of a visiting team here to check out our school. The WASC accreditation process is a system for evaluating and improving educational institutions, such as schools or universities, to ensure they meet certain standards of quality. WASC stands for Western Association of Schools and Colleges, which is a regional accrediting agency in the United States.

During the accreditation process, a team of evaluators visits the institution and assesses various aspects of its operations, such as curriculum, teaching, facilities, and student support services. The evaluators then produce a report outlining their findings and recommendations for improvement.

The institution then has the opportunity to make any necessary changes and improvements before being reevaluated in a follow-up visit. If the institution meets the WASC standards, it receives accreditation, which is a stamp of approval that can improve its reputation and help students and parents make informed decisions about their education.

So, please introduce yourself to these visitors and tell them about AR!
