Please submit announcements to AR Administrative Assistant Regina Salmon at rsalmon@fuhsdistrict.net by noon the school day before it is to run. Before submission, club announcements must be approved by advisors. Always “cc” your club advisor when submitting a Daily Announcement for your club.

Humboldt County has a lot of road work going on right now, plan accordingly and be on your TOES! Respect everyone's time, take responsibility for planning ahead, and make good choices by leaving early and allowing extra time to get to school.
School Visits: We still need more Volunteers!
It’s that time of year again! Each year, AR takes students to our feeder schools to share their experiences as an AR student and to talk about what makes the AR community so amazing.
Do you remember what it was like when we visited your 8th grade class? Now's your chance to share your AR experience to potentially new AR students. If you're interested, please fill out the attached form.
On the form, you will find a list of schools along with the dates and times for each visit. Enter your name and select the school you'd like to visit from the dropdown list.
Please keep in mind that space is limited, so not everyone who signs up will be allowed to participate.
The deadline to volunteer will be Friday 11/6 at noon. Students will be contacted Monday 10/9 to go over any additional details.

Pathways to Possibilities – Celebrating the Class of 2027! 🎓
College acceptance season is just getting started, which means our Pathways to Possibilities celebrations are beginning! Soon, you'll see photos of our 4th Years celebrating their college acceptances on our school website and social media. We celebrate every acceptance AND their final college decision!
But college isn't the only pathway! In the spring, we'll also celebrate our 4th Years continuing their education at CR with a special party and some CR swag, along with those entering the military, joining the workforce, or pursuing other opportunities.
Whether they're heading across the country or staying right here in Humboldt County, every pathway deserves recognition!
🎉Join us in celebrating the Class of 2027 and all the possibilities ahead!
Community Meeting: The last community meeting of 2026 is on Tuesday, November 17th! Please sign up to present something with this form. Get an advisor to approve it, and you can present almost anything. Please sign up to present by November 12th, but the sooner the better. We can’t wait to see what you have to share!

ADVISING
Planning for Your Spring Semester
2nd/3rd/4th years (not in Tier 3) will have a one-on-one meeting with Ms. Wozny. 1st years and first-year 2nd years you will do this in Tier 1. You may only sign up during tier, a course support, or a "free" period.
Last appointment available 12/15, after that date it will be assumed you are keeping the same schedule as you have now, with no CR classes.

CLUBS
Art Gallery: The Learning Art Club is putting on an Art Gallery. If you wish to participate, any form of art is allowed as long as it can be hung and must be school appropriate. The theme for this competition will be “Alien”. All submissions are due at 3:00 pm on November 30th (11/30) to Gina in the office. Voting will proceed on December 1st (12/1), and the top 3 submissions will receive a prize.
Submission Rules: Please write your name on the back of your art piece. Any medium, like drawing, painting, or photography, is allowed as long as it is school-appropriate and can be hung up. No AI generated art. Have fun!
