ADVISING

Tuesday, April 28 – CR registration opens for AR students. If you did not turn in your concurrent enrollment form by 4/17, you will not be able to register that day and possibly not until the following week. Deadlines matter.

As you register, if you cannot get into a class in your approved plan, are placed on a waitlist, or the waitlist is full, email Woz immediately with the class name, day, time, and your status (full, waitlisted, or waitlist full). Do the same for any other issues so your plan can be approved or updated as needed. Do not sign up for classes that are not approved. If you do, you will be asked to drop the class or your CE form will be pulled and you will not be able to take any CR classes.

If you do not meet required conditions for CR classes or your assigned tier level, we will need to move to your backup plan or schedule a meeting to discuss placement.

CLASS OF 2026

CAP & GOWN Packages: Your caps and gowns are available in the AR Office.  The cap and gown package cost will be $50 per student. Please pay with cash or check.

COLLEGE COMMITMENT DAY: College Commitment Day is officially recognized on May 1st. This is the deadline for most 4-year colleges and universities to accept admission offers and submit your enrollment deposit. If you are planning to attend a community college, timelines are more flexible, but you should still aim to complete your steps (application, placement, registration) as soon as possible.

Make sure you:

-Accept your offer of admission by May 1 (if attending a 4-year)

-Submit your deposit (if required)

-Set up your college portal and email

-Check for next steps like orientation, housing, and placement

This is an important deadline. Be ready to commit and move forward with your plan.

Weekly on Thursdays from 3-4 PM IN HU215, starting Thursday, January 29th

Get help with homework and test preparation. Biology students are welcome, too. 

STUDENT TUTORS: Now that the school year is getting close to the end. We'd like to send a reminder that peer tutoring is a free, easy way to get help in any subjects you feel uncertain about.
