Please submit announcements to AR Administrative Assistant Regina Salmon at rsalmon@fuhsdistrict.net by noon the school day before it is to run. Before submission, club announcements must be approved by advisors. Always “cc” your club advisor when submitting a Daily Announcement for your club.

Academy Award Winner - Annika Jones Current

Annika is recognized by Mr. Codispoti for always being on her TOES in Tier with consistent daily and quality log entries. Exceptional job, Annika! 


Planned Parenthood Teen Council is Open to Join:  Teen Council Humboldt is seeking new members for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! Applications are due May 8, 2026.

 The Teen Council program is Planned Parenthood's peer education and youth leadership initiative with independent counsels across the United States. Teen Council is an evidence-based program that empowers teenagers, improves communication, fosters self-efficacy, and encourages healthy behaviors. Humboldt County high school students act as volunteer peer educators.

ADVISING

Tuesday, April 28th - CR registration open to AR students 


Advising Appointments

If you are a current 2nd or 3rd year and have not completed your advising appointment, use this link to schedule one as soon as possible.

At this point, most available appointments will likely be after CR registration on 4/28.

You are required to meet with Woz. If you do not:

-Your CE form will not be submitted to CR and you will not be able to register for CR classes

-Your AR schedule will be created for you

If you miss/ed your scheduled appointment you will need to reschedule.

Additional appointment slots have been added, including Tier, available starting May 1st through May 19.

CLASS OF 2026


CAP & GOWN Packages: Your caps and gowns are available in the AR Office.  The cap and gown package cost will be $50 per student. Please pay with cash or check.


COLLEGE COMMITMENT DAY: College Commitment Day is officially recognized on May 1st. This is the deadline for most 4-year colleges and universities to accept admission offers and submit your enrollment deposit. If you are planning to attend a community college, timelines are more flexible, but you should still aim to complete your steps (application, placement, registration) as soon as possible.

Make sure you:

-Accept your offer of admission by May 1 (if attending a 4-year)

-Submit your deposit (if required)

-Set up your college portal and email

-Check for next steps like orientation, housing, and placement

This is an important deadline. Be ready to commit and move forward with your plan.

TUTORING

AFTER SCHOOL MATH SUPPORT: Wednesdays and Thursdays

Location: HU 204

Time: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Science Support Sessions with Codispoti. 

Weekly on Thursdays from 3-4 PM IN HU215, starting Thursday, January 29th


Get help with homework and test preparation. Biology students are welcome, too. 

STUDENT TUTORS: Now that the school year is getting close to the end. We'd like to send a reminder that peer tutoring is a free, easy way to get help in any subjects you feel uncertain about. Get free help in your AR or CR classes from a student tutor. Find a list of tutors on the AR website under Menu > Students > Student Tutors. For Questions? Email Robert at rodennis@fuhsdistrict.net.
