COMMUNITY MEETING: Our last community meeting of the year will be April 21st! You can sign up here to present at it. Shout out a club, give some advice, sing a song, or do something else! Just make sure you have an advisor on board. You can sign up until the 15th or until it fills up. The quicker you sign up the better! We can't wait to see you there.

Humboldt Math Festival:  The Humboldt Math Festival is a community event to celebrate mathematics through activities, art and puzzles. It will be hosted on Saturday April 25th at Redwood Acres from 12-4pm. This festival is sponsored by local businesses including CR. The AR math department, REBAR and past Math Clubs have been an active participant for the past few years and would like to continue that tradition. This year, Brewer would like your help to facilitate and guide activities. If you are interested in participating, or have more questions, please email Brewer (abrewer@fuhsdistrict.net). She will send you a document to sign up for any of the following duties: Set-up, run activities for either part of the day or the whole day, and take-down. The Math Festival coordinators love AR students and Brewer appreciates you and the time you give to the community; which means you will get community service hours for your time.

HUPA LANGUAGE: If any college eligible AR students are interested in learning the Hupa language, CR is offering a 4-unit beginner level course over the summer. Contact Freeman to learn more at afreeman@fuhsdistrict.net.

BUS SERVICE 4/6-4/10: There will be no outlying bus service April 6-10 during Fortuna High Spring Break.  Bus service will still be provided between AR and Fortuna High School.  Please plan accordingly.

REBAR HANGOUT: Our final REBAR Hangout approaches! Join us next week, Friday the 10th from 3:00–5:15 in the Lakeview Room for food, games, and fun. All refreshments and snacks are provided by student donations, so please bring what you can, even if it's small or simple. Feel free to drop off food, drinks, or games in the office before school and REBAR members will deliver them to the Lakeview Room. Let's make this last hangout count!

REDWOOD DAYS

CR and HCOE are hosting Redwood Days on campus Fridays this month. Tour guides will show groups of younger students around campus. Please remember that you represent AR and should be on your TOES, respectful, responsible, and make good choices!

POETRY SLAM: The Redwood Poets Society is excited to invite you to our first annual poetry slam, "A Forest of Voices", on April 10th from 5:30–8:00 PM in the CAC Theater. It's right after the REBAR Hangout and everyone is welcome to attend.

We are still looking for students who would like to share poetry at the event. If you’re interested in performing, just show up! You are also welcome to come to our final meetings/rehearsal.
